CJ Unruh, LMSW
CJ earned her undergraduate degree in social work from Bethel College, located in North Newton, Kansas. She also has her Master’s degree in social work from Newman University, located in Wichita, Kansas.
Christian therapist, CJ Unruh, is passionate about her love for Christ and her love for counseling. Her focus in therapy deals with women of all ages, adolescents, and couples in all stages of their relationship. She believes that communication is the key to any successful relationship. Therapist is certified as a Licensed Master Social Worker, and is currently working toward obtaining her clinical license.
Therapist utilizes a variety of different approaches to help clients achieve their identified goals. CJ strives to help clients see their full potential in therapy by focusing in on each individual’s personal strengths and desires. She aspires to build a lasting relationship with clients by providing kindness, compassion, authenticity, empathy, and a desire to meet the client where they are at in this life journey. She looks at therapy through a solution-focused, strength perspective, and cognitive behavioral lens.
